His eyes
The amazon
His eyes the vines and the leaves
Two perfect emeralds staring back at me
The color of life, stealing my breath
As I look into his strange eyes, I'm lost in green depth
Marveling at the vivid hue
Not quite grey, not quite blue
Green yes, but something new
A color on the spectrum I never knew
I've never seen
Drowning in those pools of green
Piercing me like a knife
Only his touch brings me back to life
His eyes the vines and the leaves
Two perfect emeralds staring back at me
The color of life, stealing my breath
As I look into his strange eyes, I'm lost in green depth
Marveling at the vivid hue
Not quite grey, not quite blue
Green yes, but something new
A color on the spectrum I never knew
I've never seen
Drowning in those pools of green
Piercing me like a knife
Only his touch brings me back to life
