The Wind Dancer

She's like the wind

tempestuous
setting course
towards
the topography
of my landscape
lending me
a distant illusion
of peace in the midst
of the storm
her voice breathes it's warm
comfort against my broken soul

“........feeling as if I've found my home
at last”

…..and her kiss
cast a spell upon my heart
my God, where do I start?
I feel as if I can fly
lest I fall
and I should die
I will find heaven in her eyes......

…...I am her Icarus and she my Angel

Laila.....

…..diabolique mon ange
floating aloft the winds of shame
Why have you come to hurt me?

"….to castrate my manly flesh
and mutilate my bulletproof soul"
She shrouds my eyes
in immortal darkness
I am no longer whole”

and now my fountain bleeds red
as she sits perched high upon
my once majestic mount,
no longer sacred
hidden beneath the spread
of her blackened wings
never again to fly.......

“......for she is like the wind
and my soul left to die”
