High Tide
Like a wheel within a wheel
And a dream within a dream
He knows she's not how she may feel
She's not how she may seem
She stays just out of reach
Dancing towards the sand
They finally make the beach
Where she takes his hand
They lie down in the tide
Caressed by the sea
She has sworn to be his bride
Adrift in eternity
It may be that love runs deep
Takes the breath away
And the Pacific provides sleep
A bed at the end of day.

Crow, Excellent painting of this iconic scene. You've truly captured the romance and urgent sensuality in this piece. Bravo! Maybe one day I'll actually see the film :)

That's an ethereal feel to the poem...it can be interpreted as being lost together in the ocean... together in eternal sleep. I had goosebumps. Crowfly:)

Crow, I've always mentioned how uniquely different your ink is to me. No matter what style or genre, there is just something about your font that captures me and takes me along for the ride. Soft and stunning piece. xo

i feel like there is a slight, dark undercurrent to this piece. it is well written and quite satisfying. even with that slight edge to it. well done, crow.
