the last petal wilted and fell away
the orchid now bare
no longer arrayed in nature's beauty
shied from the sun that undressed her
*
blessed the rain
that defines understanding
each droplet of truth
resurrects the true goddess
*
the misty eve cried tears of affection
in the night's eyes she found acceptance
weeping for her renewal
her lovely form mirrored in his countenance
*
simple graceful memory
don’t question majesty
the spikes pierce
hearts and tangled minds
*
she is immortal in his thoughts
forever in a graceful state
he see's what is possible with her
so he tends to her, lovingly grooming
*
he needs her water
sweet sustenance
feeding this lonely
forgotten world
