In Thoughts of Fear

I peak out my decayed window
I see the shadow
It purposes to stalk me
scare me
In never ending fright
Beseeching my fear
All too clear to the ear
Belligerent screams sear
The quivering ear

My courage drains like sweat
Encaging my blissful radiance
Intervenes between me
And the light
I seek refuge in clear skies
Little stars smiling so
Though it seems to no avail
Lo, I set sail on braveries sea
Evil still eyes me
Countless spiders 'cross skin
in my hair, all consuming
Like a final gasp for air
My lungs will not prosper
Conscious fades further
In blood-rusted ruins
Fear and bodily fluid
Rancid from puking

Perhaps I'll see you on the morn
In greener fields of fog
Gentle as a newborn.
