There's your job and then there's your life, it's great when they're one and the same, but that's for a rare few ...
Since writing poetry doesn't pay bills, I'd say "Do what you have to do, so you can do what you want to do."

I'm actually doubling in economics because that's fun for me. Interesting. And I might get to write about a different kind of neurosis. Thanks for the advice

I've done all the Droid jobs for many moons. Play it straight , make a bunch of green, invest wisely and be a renegade poet on the side. Life will be good

Not there yet. Just took the GMAT. Crushed it. Going to grad school next year. Then as the poets do, tour Europe before settling into my mundane existence.
