\\\ PEEL MY FACE TO REMOVE YOU ///

Watch me as I peel my face
To remove any likeness of you

You left me cold and shivering
Upon an isle of desolation and grief
I learned anger and denial
And cast me out like an uncommon thief

Was I too close to the truth?
Wanting to be just like you
My nativity is black
Pulsating behind your back

Burn, evermore, righteous fury
I stray, walking alone, on the wailing path
Shadows seem to abandon me
Justly, fearing to cross my crimson wrath

Watch me as I peel my face
To remove any likeness of you
And sever the disgrace
Bred in flesh, goddamn you!

Blood of your blood
Tainted with your grace
Not of your God
Watch me peel my face

And I have torn straight to the bone
Scorned as deep as the seeds were sown
Thunder pulses in grey matter
Deep down beneath black skies of your throne

I'm fatherless in the void
As I'm lifeless in the soil
My naivety is grave
And as lost as the bleak day

Tell me, why must share your skin
If you will refuse to share in my sin?
Clash of holy calamity
And clock strikes midnight doom, shall be begin?

Watch me as I peel my face
To remove any likeness of you
And sever the disgrace
Bred in flesh, goddamn you!

Blood of your blood
Tainted with your grace
Not of your God
Watch me peel my face

The stitches and itches
Remind me of the grey
Skies over Heaven
My retches are wretched
When scar tissue runs deep
On the steps of Hell

Fuck you, I don't want to see you
A cruel hearted bastard, for sooth
Cast me to the rabble in need
Denied, I will sell them my truth

Watch me as I peel my face
To remove any likeness of you
And sever the disgrace
Bred in flesh, goddamn you!

Blood of your blood
Tainted with your grace
Not of your God
Watch me peel my face

Can you feel it, old man
Power drifting away
I have a special place
It is called a grave
