One Night in the Name of Love

I could explode or I could erode,
one or the other I will make myself known,
A young romeo behind poetic prose,
with phonetic flows i make out a lonely hello,
I've been lost in a comatose
no, I was remotely controlled,
a fallen domino,
but i am trying to let it all go,
So I expose my soul,
hoping to grow,
i hope i'm not too verbose,
I got a lot to say now that i am here,
most don't come that near,
i fear getting so close we start sharing spheres,
I disclose and am sincere,
will you be my final frontier?
I am nervous like the premiere,
slow to appear,
I just want to hold you beneath these chandeliers,
the lights are low but i am focused,
If i step on your toes i'll sweep you off your feet,
plant a garden of roses if that is what you seek,
I don't know what you see in me,
i will do everything to make this dream complete,
if you meet me halfway in the street,
as our heartbeats increase,
I don't care who sees,
Am i naive to believe we can actually succeed?
