ah Mr. Case I think it's a great motivational thing to take pictures of one's progress..
that being said I love the imagery you used describing your body..
also the self inventory you take while taking and assessing your picture..
by the way great build ;)
love Crim

Thanks Crim. It's been a while since I've been creative. I will confess, this was originally a humorous message [and photo] I sent to my girl that kinda sounded poetic, whilst at the same time being self observational of my motives... I think I was high on endorphins at the time, and now desperate to pounce on anything that resembled a poem, even at the price of taking the piss out of myself. Thanks again.

Mr Feddeler, I appreciate your feedback, sir. I wasn't to sure the poem was strong enough to break it up with the countdown, but I'm stoked you think it works.

Well case...this was worth waiting for...and I'm not meaning the photo, though it is good to see a bit more of you... ;-)
This is so creative...in idea, the way it's been set out and it's even romantic...
I dare say you've ticked all the boxes...hope it was appreciated...

Re: Re. [second] image of a man
Well Kate, thank you for digging my creativity and for the list add. It's been so long since writing my last poem that the self-doubt had me question if the Italian countdown and scarceness of the lines was working at all. And yes, the photo and random poetry was appreciated, apparently I crack her up and she referred to me as her "temple of testosterone"... romantic, huh? ;)

I've always believed that there is certainly nothing wrong with a little (instant) self-gratifiacation--once in a while, especially if one has worked so hard for that moment of pleasure.....( creative inspiration....expression of love....etc., etc.),and it certainly seems as if you have, my friend--not only in your finely- chisled physique, but in this cleverly crafted piece as well!!
To be sure, there truly is a link...a melding of mind, body, and spirit.....what we strive to achieve externally....seems to directly affect us internally---and vise versa!
(Hmmmm...was told often enough that the body is a " temple....of the soul."....but a "temple of testosterone" (grins and giggles)...wellllll....your lady not only has a wonderfully unique sense of humor, but according to your selfie, she's also spot on! :) ) Glad to hear she appreciated your romantic effort !!
Slainte !!!

Healthy body, healthy mind, has been a bit of a revelation to me the past couple of years... I'm a slow learner. I went through a period really feel comfortable seeing photos of myself... until now. It's been a huge turnaround for me and I guess the message, the photo and the poem is some kind of milestone. However, it seems my lover has outdone with her wicked poetics. ;)
Thank you, DarkEnchantress. I always appreciate your comment and reading your thoughts.

After two days of fighting like hell not to get choked out by guys outweighing me by 60 plus pounds in juijitsu class and then this past night working the pads by kicking and being kicked ...,
I'm totally on board with this Brotha ...
The beauty is just not in the battering rams themselves but in each nanosecond of pain endured to get there ...
You also reminded me that I have to start running more to build my cardio ... the "echo" I want to hear is that of this one particular guy in my gym tapping out.
Great piece.
Cheers

Re: Re. [second] image of a man
It seems I have the opposite problem. It's winter, the nights are colder and the days are shorter, so fewer guys [my size] turn up to the gym.
I was paired up to spar with an amateur boxer more than half my age, more technical and 50 pounds lighter. I held back, [except for the counter right hook that clipped his chin], but this guy was constantly unleashing bombs... after 20 rounds I wasn't moving so good and taking a few too many hits... but you're so right about the pain.
Great to hear you overdoing it again. Always raising the bar, always pushing me to think about how I can do more with my time.
Awesome to hear from you brotha.
