This Riff, one without a spliff
We’ll call it The Alcoholics -
Gotta nice get-well plan; lookin to install it
Every time we stumble - We won’t care who saw it and
Any road that’s rough we’ll mostly think to crawl it
Whereas most of y’all - y’all here for The Show
Probably for all y’all ‘Heads it’ll be Nod, Grasp & Go
Then there’s that few who’ll sit-up for The Game
The others? - They’re just into our name
But look here, y’all can forget about any tabletop glee
We’re just irregular folk, here onna drink-it-up spree
Making our claim with every drink we pee
Been like this since Our Old Mama’s knee - and
Without doubt it’ll be us not remembering our name.
Now? What to call us?
More than likely it’ll still be the same
The Alcoholics::: And, no we’re not into the fame
Just wilding-out wildcats tryin to get ourselves tame
I mean look... by the book I heard over there is took
That fine-fine Kara jean lookin twice forsook
Yet, what an addition to this Over-Ground scene
Nice bend to her pen if you know what eyes mean

Fuck her; this is what writers do
Should’ve known from the start I’d follow up true
That I’d ride right in and probably write one for Boo
Add-Just-Ice, as a few writers do
See, we grab @ a thought, one never taught
Maybe the one you thought that could never be bought
But you know the way it is, playin with Jazz
Lookin straight @ you “thinkin” Damn, G-Wiz and
The same might be said when written in red
Wherein some other things jus might not get said
While we do what we do and blame it on drink
Wild @ the same time, tryin to raise us a stink

Yeah, perhaps we’ll again scribble over here
Maybe add a little knife, a little twist ova there
Keepin the intent to “almost” be clear
Remembering, Anheuser “molds us” to grab us a beer
Them inferring leave off the wine and drink U.S. with care
Cuz, Anomaly, consequently puts ‘us all out there
And without any doubt they can do it with flair!
