Image for the poem I Lost, Myself In You

I Lost, Myself In You

Wake me up
kiss my cheek,

whisper soft words
in my ear.

Run with me
feel the mollow
air?

Dancing so near
feeling so good
on our soft skin.

So deep within
me is your heart,

Within you i lost
myself.

So far, so close
to the edge of
no return.

I forgot that
I had lost my voice,

screaming for
you to rescue
me.

I lost, myself in you
and the torso closed,
so there's no finding
me.
