It's what's missing
You know
You remember
How long has it been?
Have you ever?
Can you recall that kiss?
Deep...passionate
All consuming
Remember what it felt like?
Like the only thing that mattered
At that moment
Remember the intensity of it?
Sharing with just reckless abandon
..eyes closed
Yet your vision could never be clearer
Unrestrained..unashamed
That one deep kiss
A kiss so sensual
So profound...
It became an act
Unto itself
...self sustaining
Conjuring the sub-conscious
Swallowing each other
..wallowing in the wetness of it all
Tongues dancing on impulse
..lips meshed in matrimony
Jaws hopelessly trying to unlock
...unhinge themselves
So we can truly devour one another
..making it up as we go along
Us two in that moment
...resuscitating each other
Selfishly claiming for ourselves
A world oxygenated
By the heaving of our lungs
..pumped by the swelling of our hearts
This human heat fusion
Giving way to what can only be
..defined as
