Why No Country is Without Borders
A giant heart with a permeable membrane soaks up Earth around it.
Yet, it begins to beat again after congestive heart failure.
It tries to stay strong.
It rewires the transjectory of its liquids towards the outside,
but more liquid and mucus squeeze it's rhythms out.
A heart sunk cannot survive.
Another heart has to take the pressure.
Two hearts, an alliance,
can make it,
but one heart breathing in the world dies.
This has to be a universe of sovereign hearts that split the stuffy chest cage of this globe.
One heart will stop and this planet of ice and boiling water will be taken to land
forever.
The fluid people will dry
when the heart dies.
But if there were more hearts,
more hearts to embrace the people in,
no one heart will be enlarged or congested.
A heart is like a country of its own, and the people are like water.
Only a sovereign heart can be strong.
