Brazilian Caramel

Brazilian Caramel

Similar to a forbidden fruit
Tempting -in ways beyond how it seems
Untouchable silky leather
Just beyond the transparent wall you've built

A smile, a laugh
An uphill climb-rocky and spent
But a worthy and rewarding search for the end of the rainbow
A rare and beautiful find

A tasteful desire
Why do you speak to me?
Share your center
Why did you choose me?
Who am I?

Trusting and oblivious
Or at last, an ally?

Brazilian Caramel
Weakens my resolve
Breaks down my wall
Guilty after sharing a piece
But loving; wanting more

And who are you?
A windy twisting rainbow
Searching for the bottom
A place to rest all your colors
Apart from the storm around you
To watch it pass by
A view outside the storm you've been caught in
And a home for the treasure which is you

Smooth and silky though untouched and un-tasted

What is better than love?
The answer is you
Love has many definitions
Better than love is overcoming of tragedies
Staying, keeping the sweetheart inside you

Killing the demons
Unlocking the room they shut you in
Unlocking Yourself
     From others;  from love again

Love again- let yourself see it again
In someone else, even if for a short time
Look beyond those walls of yours, past the walls of theirs
Look into the eyes of her, see the love she has to offer
Maybe not the love you want but

What if it is?
What if you miss out?
Joy, laughter and fun, don't pass up on it

Break it down - knock it over- shatter it
Destroy it
The damage these tragedies that surrounded themselves around you

A sweet man
Don't hide him
Don't hide that part of you away
You are better than you think
Worth more than you believe
