Step Lively
Skating on thin ice,
Treading water ever so slightly.
Minding mines that litter the ground,
In such scenarios I step lively.
Tip toe over hot coals,
Where planted feet is no assumption
I suppose,
In fear frozen, still in stand,
Careful not to struggle through quicksand.
Hurry up just to wait,
Every move calculated and timely.
Calm waters getting rough don't hesitate,
With much patience step lively.
Treading water ever so slightly.
Minding mines that litter the ground,
In such scenarios I step lively.
Tip toe over hot coals,
Where planted feet is no assumption
I suppose,
In fear frozen, still in stand,
Careful not to struggle through quicksand.
Hurry up just to wait,
Every move calculated and timely.
Calm waters getting rough don't hesitate,
With much patience step lively.
