The Secret Meaning of "Love Your Neighbor As Your Self"
It means love yourself NO MORE
Than you love your neighbor.
It doesn't explicitly say that.
It only implies it, but that's enuff.
Just because it's hidden away, below the surface,
That doesn't mean that the message isn't there.
It is.
Having to love your neighbor, not just yourself,
serves as a brake on self-love.
it keeps you from overdoing it.
It saves you from narcissism.

"Love your neighbor as yourself"(Leviticus 19.18),
Followed by Christ(Matthew 19.19; 22.39),
Followed by Paul the Apostle(Romans 13.9;Galatians 5.14).
