The Heavenly Glen
There's so much I want to understand
about this God-fearing man
He was a man who worked the land
everything he earned, he earned with his hands
businessman, fisherman, family-man
with the earth and the sea at his command.
Never took a day for granted.
Proud of his family, proud of his home
most hard working man you've ever known
and now a man too soon too gone.
Left with only memories to recall
Cherished and treasured
Deep inside the soul
A broken heart can be made whole...
If grieving hearts do falter
one can always call on Jesus
who carried him home
Heavenly Glen
We know we'll be seeing you again
(For my uncle Glen who passed in 2012, RIP)

Thank you. My uncle passed away in 2012--the anniversary of his death was recently. I wanted to post this to honor him. I appreciate it.
