Dry your eyes, Gahdess. This is first rate work, a state of healing (and fond recollection) in a mere three lines. The rinsing might come from tears, a gentle catharsis before tossing in the dryer.

Thank you Taryn! I agree with you regarding time and wounds. Often time can help us better care for our wounds but heal but rather help us to understand and bear the pain.

Perfect title for a perfect poem. I'm so horrible at writing haikus. It's very hard for me to dilute my thoughts into 17 syllables without rambling and leaving readers scratching their heads, lol...which is why I'm so impressed and wowed by those who can, and who can tell a story and paint the picture so lucid.
