Illusionary Insanity

Let me out of this prison,
this prison that’s my mind.
Stop it from destroying me,
destroying me inside.
 
Get me away from all these people,
these people full of shit.
Those promises all broken,
those lies all told with wit.
 
End this constant misery,
this misery bequeathed.
Take the sword plunged in my heart
and make sure it is sheathed.
 
Please just carry me away,
away from all this hate.
Take me, hold me close to you
and save me from this fate.
