Catwoman Dances a Jig & the Carrot Preens its Feathers

There's a flea in your ear
and a stone in your shoe
'tis the break from the norm that's a pest
You'd like to know more
but you haven't a clue
how those holes all appeared in your vest

When you woke up today
there was sweat on your brow
you lay biting your lip in great pain
And whatever the cause
you've forgotten it now
but you'll know not to do it again

A woman you say,
sharp claws like a cat
exacting revenge in your dream
If only she'd thought
to tell you her name
before you awoke with a scream

Was she leopard or lion,
a banshee perhaps
jaws gnashing with terrible power
Oh lawks, you're all sticky
run along to get changed
and don't linger too long
in the shower.
