Prognosis 2

Daddy's little helper falters
The milligrams barely cut it
Damn near surrendering these days
Daddy's bone structure a collection of shards
His horses and men AWOL
No longer responsible for the debris
Surgeons gather in vulture formation
Their gaze registering insurance coverage
"Just one more incision," they enthuse,
"A few more turns of your screws
Stitch this ruin right back up
And all will be well."
