Short Poems III: The Mixing of your Life
I.
sweet silicone doll
why do you cry
isn't all this
what you sought
the fame and fortune
instead of love indeed
II.
fallacies and lies
truth and life
what shall become
the muse you seek
when words etched in
the template you scribe
what message shall you seek
in symbolism now dead
III.
can you hear it
the music inspired love
it's melody unmistakable
if you press it to the ground
it beats in your heart
as it seeks to spring free
IV.
falter you shall not
today is when you rise
show them their god
lying in disuse
money laid to waste
as it all comes to an end
V.
i cannot speak
on matter yet untold
that discovery is for you
to attain within your reach
of time yet unfold
to greater height of thought
don't you quit
till the pen stops preaching
VI.
caught up in it all
you once sought truth
tragedy is what you seek
so you shall attain
we reap what we sow
continue to water the garden
maybe when it's done
will you see it all
VII.
i see the hope
that time will come
when we all dance in peace
share what we've made
together once again
in the blanket of the night
one love, one hope
together we shall be
