Heart shaped dreams
My heart shaped dreams
look a lot like you
They find me every night
Sleep walking
I always end up
at the same place
Awaken
to a moment made of stars
Shadow boxing
tears of the sun
As if the heavens feel my pain
with thoughts so loud
the noise around me dies
Making me an echo of a thought
that failed to cross your mind
And, it's this silence
that suffocates me
breaking me down
to the heart shaped
dreams
That shatter me like you do
look a lot like you
