My daughters and my grandsons are a joy to see
Developing their skills and quirks and personality

I have been lucky, my family are all friends,
When we together we discuss recent trends
Our political discussions  can last almost a day
In spite of disagreements our relationships do not fray.

We care for each other, help when there is need,
We share our resources, assist all to succeed.
Best of all are the times when we're all together
The warmth of our clan can beat the coldest weather
