Can This Feel Right?

Every cloud has that silver lining
so my joy has been found
for a write suggestion my lack of positive regard
has given me new creative ground
for the poem inspired by the less then honest artist
has so much subtly it has gone above her head
or else the reaction is nonplused
no response generated in the deciever's bed
the art of venting the negative vibes
with the subject not in the know
is actually very satisfying
as far as the choices of where to go
for my style isn't quite like a Lennon
who in song could publicly cut anyone to size
even when dealing with deep seeded issues of his own
which he admitted wasn't always so wise
in my little world I then find my reward
from the coupling of words that contain my disgust
knowing that something meaningful to maybe only me
reminds me that in my own abilities I can still trust
