Lay Me Down To Sleep
As my lover lays me down to sleep
He wipes away the tears I weep
He brushes his soft lips against mine
He's the only one who wants to know if I'm fine
I lay under him, one of his hands on my face
With the other hand he takes mine, our fingers interlace
Then I wake up, it was just a dream. there is no lover
Who wants these sweet things. I've faded away into the night
He wipes away the tears I weep
He brushes his soft lips against mine
He's the only one who wants to know if I'm fine
I lay under him, one of his hands on my face
With the other hand he takes mine, our fingers interlace
Then I wake up, it was just a dream. there is no lover
Who wants these sweet things. I've faded away into the night
