depress

the sky is aged, un-
certain. refractory
beams of sun caress lonely
water drops. tears of a
cloud walking through
wind to rapturous ends,
lighthouses free falling,
swayed, sometimes side-
ways, pheromones of
damp cement leaving vapor
trails that carry whispers
back to themselves, telling
them to fall again, this time
without the breeze, the
sky, or the struggle to hold the
light inside.
