***
traces of young daydreams
which we never escape
and here we are
sacred in this union
gentle inside the other
quiet and needy
and the neediness
is forgiven
naked on the floor
i build castles in my mind
thick sand in the hour glass
i become an orphan
an orphan never forgives
our memories rule us
we live in a barren culture
always thristy..
your lips my water
your life inside me sustains me
we bang like scoundrels
searching for the other's treasure
I love you
why
you love me
how
twenty years of marriage
has become our religion
your lips ... my breasts
your shoulder.. my mouth
your voice...my laugh
this is our life.
we bow to the world
and she loves us back.
