Scribed Lust
tender ivory skin
ancient hieroglyphs
inked on my back
from the base of my neck
to the top of my heart shaped bum
stories told that only the divine can decipher
our tale is written in the stars
shining light on my silken flesh
purging me of the pain
that makes me curl within myself
spine protruding accentuating text
made for gods alone to understand
I can't see my way out
of the darkness
stumbling on the stepping stones
winding my way down the path to your genius
reading you hoping to enter your world
you let me have a glimpse
which suffices for a moment
hungry for more, anorexic
needing the meat of your verse
which stains my mind
enters my blood stream
feeds my intellect
my body supple
scribe out your desire
on my flesh
that only the divine can see
not for prying eyes
written in code
inking out my thoughts
may they find their way
across the ocean to your waiting ears

This reminds me of Wilde's "We are all of us in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars." But I like the idea of the light playing on your beautiful skin. The stars would be delighted.
