Invocation of Disciplina
I announce Disciplina!
Goddess of Receiving
Open my gates!
To new percepts
Unknown before;
Fill thy chalice!
With the rain of calm
And the Taste of lightning
Under the magnetic umbrella
Of the nurturing Love
Poled by the motivation
By giving up these tired patterns
Submitting to her rules
To Transform this body.
I announce Disciplina!
Goddes of Order
To pull back my arms!
And lean forward with my tongue
And vibrate thy Attendant
Through strength of Focus
And Restraint of thought
To put forth thou action
From thy centre of my Heart
To attain the Will
Of my Transcendent Self
And proceed from that point
To a new sphere of Consciousness.

You lure me a'purpose with your personification.. *bowing to the Deity of disciplines.. as She encompasses
so many facets- knowledge, self-control, frugality.. soo much to speak of that I will force my hush & praise
your pen here as I absorb the vibes. we may later needs speak of Roman soldiers & Her altar stone dedications,
you arcanely knowledged scribe ;)
"Fill thy chalice!
With the rain of calm
And the Taste of lightning.."
~lovely, pure and coveted.
"To pull back my arms!
And lean forward with my tongue
And vibrate thy Attendant
Through strength of Focus
And Restraint of thought"
~for certes.. you hush me here.. such open minded spiritualism in just the asking, acceptance, and
invocation of.. Enjoyed & beyond, sweetie..!

Darksighs....they are light whispers tickling my ear when you read and comment on my work.
A stanza for receiving and a stanza for projecting. What to sacrifice when one desires?
Thank you

I could use a little Disciplina myself. My muse is missing in action. This is an exhilarating read DPW. Fine work!

This is a reminder to myself of reigning myself in if I plan on getting anything that I feel of value accomplished. I let things happen as they may as chalk it up to my "personality" or "the way that I am". While its true for so long, there is point where I must endure some structure and Discipline to accomplish some personal goals in my life.
Thank you Crow. I always appreciate your thoughtful comments.

Much can be gained through proper channels of restraint, though few people ever come to recognize this... that alone is impressive here. This *invoking is keenly felt. I wish you all your aspirations, friend.

Sometimes in order to find yourself, you have to let the world go and do what it wants and play the active observer in all of its doings. And as I am sure you are aware...letting go is knowing that things have changed and we come to an end of a part of ourselves and give way for the birth to something new...something from our present future...something honestly kinder in our hearts...in how we treat ourselves and others..and...as you know, Michael...that even a tree knows when to let go of its leaves as it prepares for its winter...that fall to the ground...and nourish its own roots...for strength and warmth...and we can share in that rather than cutting ourselves off at the roots and toppling over the people we care about.

Thank you, Sir. I do believe needed to hear that, for even the *knowing is sometimes quelled in the heat of emotion... and one acts poorly. I appreciate your being bold enough to speak up. Much respect to you for that.

Sir Play. . .this piece is very spiritual on every aspect you've conveyed here. . .I fell in love with your wordplay, that I must confess. . .And the imagery from start to finish was a spot on. . .Well done. . .xoxo, Devlin;)
