Onyx Drops Of Madness
reigning darkness
is the color of my rain
onyx shadowing a soul
that lies prostrate
in subservience
to the inner demons
that plague my existence
the true nature of my being
hidden away by their visceral faces
melancholy rain drops
pour down on a lonely heart
sheltering in their ferocious pull
the face of madness emerges
darkly beautiful in it's visage
a covering to my reality
fantasy the shade
the waters that I bathe in
cleansing me of all that ails
today I long to strip bare
dance under cascading waters
rainbow in color
paint myself pretty
with their lovely diverse hues
no longer a death moth
now a multi colored butterfly
showing all the beauty
of a crystal reflecting a whole soul
(for the color of rain competition)

I understand these feelings so well. You express them beautifully.
I see you as this.....
"'paint myself pretty
with their lovely diverse hues
no longer a death moth
now a multi colored butterfly
showing all the beauty
of a crystal reflecting a whole soul ""
A gorgeous though fragile thingl, reflected light of many talents and many depths of your gold soul.

"today I long to strip bare
dance under cascading waters
rainbow in color"
~the abandon to a color dazzle of arching waters is serene & lovely..
"paint myself pretty <~~ faves and happy to see intent, m'purdies..
with their lovely diverse hues
no longer a death moth"
&
"now a multi colored butterfly
showing all the beauty
of a crystal reflecting a whole soul" <~~'whole' ..brings me smiles Brenda ;)
~the emergence to butterfly life colors from moth's darker side shows true courage. I am guilty
of harboring vast fondles for the dark moth as well. You remind me of a clear crystalline reflection,
refreshed in healing rains here..
Adore your mind, as it swells and pours from your page.. great comp works CrimCrim.
Title evokes a perfect edge to the [yearned for]shedding of madness.
much loves & respects for your vibrant pen today. *mwahs

lovely d~ thank you for showing me so much love on this write..
I do have a very dark side and I sometimes shy away from it though Taryn has been encouraging me to embrace this side as well as my light side..
so pleased you found beauty in my rainbow butterfly ending..
love Brenda

"melancholy rain drops
pour down on a lonely heart
sheltering in their ferocious pull"
The forecast calls for pain, and you catch the depression well in the pull of the rain drops. Things seem grim but it's a thrill to see that multi-color butterfly emerge! Fine work Crim!

A conversion from Blackness (the absence of color) to a spirit of just the opposite.
A clever and hopeful transformation eloquently scribed.
I enjoyed the piece, Crim....Nice Job!
