Listened to a CD today,
n' oh how it sounded so sweet
every note on a higher level fell
way way down inside, soul's keep

I embraced that searin' voice,
her CD song rang of a certain truth
while the melody swirled like magic
I felt, out of body...without choice

Played her CD,
in successive rotation,
one would think-
no other song existed
in the nation

I smile, I feel, I  felt, n' embrace...
this warmth comin' on so serenely, endearin', commandin'
I'm instantly addicted...
it's all over my face...

The harmonies' she spew
tasty as chocolate, stickin'
on me like caramel candy
it's as if this CD...knows
what to do...

Can barely wait for the next track
to start, as it's sure to 'send me'
into 'sudden arrest'  futilely
fendin' off the next
sweetest of  'heart attacks...'
