- - - CLOAKED IN TREPIDATION - - -
At that moment of your very first breath
I am the constant, I was there for you
And that moment lain in your bed of death
I am the constant, I am there for you
The creeping dread in the mind of a child
Those golden days of rampant imagination
I remain just outside of the mind's eye
The bitter truth cloaked in trepidation
Here at the end of hopes
And the death of prayers
Heart stricken with loss
When love swings from a rope
I am the grief
The ignorance of overwhelming love
And pyres of early mourning cremation
I will remain just outside of the light
The jagged pill cloaked in trepidation
At the moment of your very first kiss
I am the constant, I was there for you
And at that moment of your death bed wish
I am the constant, I am there for you
Here at the end of hopes
And the death of prayers
Heart stricken with loss
When love swings from a rope
I am the grief
A fading parent
Or a dying child
A soul mate
Wasting away
When the only thing
That you can do is
Let me in
Here at the end of hopes
And the death of prayers
Heart stricken with loss
When love swings from a rope
I am the grief
When the truth reveals as skies are aflame
You are Hellbound with no chance of salvation
I will remain in the depths of shadow
The bitter truth cloaked in trepidation
At that moment of your very first breath
I am the constant, I was there for you
And that moment lain in your bed of death
I am the constant, I am there for you
