Mother Hecate

Dark mother Hecate,
Goddess of witchcraft, night and the moon,
Establish your power
Over the heavens, the earth and the sea

Sweet goddess of three paths,
Guardian of thy refuge,
Present your presence,
Lover of solitude

Striding the roads in nightfall,
Visiting cemeteries,
In a dark phase,
You exert the torches,
Mother Hecate

Viewing the Otherworld
Of the dormant and the bloodless,
It puts her at ease
While every company
Shuns out of fear

Queen of the Shadows,
Though misunderstood,
May you be favored,
Protector of the burdened

When the sun sets
And stars decorate,
An offering is assembled
For thy mother
And thy hounds

Lost in such wonder,
Retrieving my way,
Mother Hecate shall
Point out the direction
Within her crossroads

What lies so deeply
Forgotten or concealed,
The pure, wicked goddess
Guides thee to make a wise choice

While residing in a process
Of sacred meditation,
The new beginnings
We’ll seek our way

By your word
And your tolerance,
Praise Mother Hecate
