Happy 5th birthday have you accepted rape into your life,
It's a patriarchal practice built from sadism and male strife,
A hedonistic ritual to keep us all under control,
The birthright of masculinity bestowed upon all men young and old,
They'll decry our institution of commercialized fear funded by the tax payer's dime,
But don't let them hide the irrevocable fact that their gender alone commits crime,
Just listen to their protests of our paranoia and self-destructive delusions,
Wielding weapons of statistics the opposition seeks to incite societal confusion,
Be wary of their minstrels reciting chants for equality,
Brace yourself against the trollish foot soldiers' brutal tactics of social media skullduggery,
Be mindful my child the only knights in your life should be white,
Not those racist, misogynistic, patriarchal, bigoted, transphobic, ableist , MRA troglodytes,
The worst of their scum are the generals leading the charge from the courts and Youtube channels,
Polluting governmental positions on the discriminatory grounds of merited credentials,
Debunking "fact" after "fact" of our beloved ideology,
Do they really think my feelings are superseded by rationality,
It is imperative my children not to be deceived our greatest enemies come from within our own ranks,
So called "women" who strive to be their best denying any notion of a patriarchal state,
Just because they became successful doesn't mean all other womyn can be,
Your hard-earned accomplishments poison our minds with absurd notions of individuality,
They don't realize that womyn are oppressed everywhere,
Deemed worthless by society unless they're in the kitchen with a baby in tow,
Unable to walk outside without a male escort and deprived the right to vote,
Yes that may be in Saudi Arabia but we Western womyn are just as oppressed too,
Through the hashtag "yesallwomen" we can count ourselves among the downtrodden and render all naysayers moot,
Us feminists will not stand for this institutionalized patriarchy,
We demand the dismantling of this hateful misogynistic army,
To pave the way for our lord and savior Hillary Clinton,

Now do you see how empowering the feminist ideology is,

Tis my thought here that what you make of feminism in this piece is a parody, really, much as any parody of the fringe portions of any group.
True feminism is really an interest in equality and equity for women; no diminishment of men nor lessening of them desired or necessary, ne c'est pas? :-*
I am not saying there are not some feminists with a more militant perspective; tis true in most movements that there are those radicals.
However, I am positing that by far the vast majority of those seeking equality within the workforce, within our culture, within the social fabric sans denigration to men are the truest definition of feminism there is, luv. :-*

If you're going to put that mantra crap on my poem you'd better read this.
Well "luv" allow me a comment to rebuttal which the harsh truth that feminism itself has become a fringe group of society.
I know what the dictionary says about feminism and it's contradictory to the letter for when I think of "striving for equality because genders" I think of egalitarianism or for a broader scope, humanism.
"Feminism" in the word is not, as you say, a strive for equality, in fact as you put it "True feminism is really an interest in equality and equity for women" you admit yourself that it is for the advancement of women. During the days of women's suffrage where there were legitimate inequalities in the workplace and society where women were at a disadvantage, feminism was not a movement but an ideology (a VERY dangerous misconception modern day feminists can't seem to get right).
For example Amelia Earheart was a feminist, but in the proper sense. She didn't make excuses for her place in the world, she didn't make excuses when she couldn't achieve everything she dreamed of, and she didn't back down when obstacles were placed in her way. THAT'S feminism, taking responsibility for yourself and your own actions regardless of external factors. Which, hate to break it to you "luv" but this is what all men have to endure, we don't have the luxury of traditional gender roles allowing us to stay home all day.
Modern day, or 3rd wave feminism is not about equality by any stretch of the dictionary or imagination. It is about power, plain and simple. Modern day feminists seek to bring all other women down to their level of ignorant malicious fear through flawed concepts of "rape culture" and perpetual victim-hood. Feminists would have all women believe that as a women you are already born disadvantaged and oppressed and as a women you are ENTITLED to receive handouts and special treatment, yet they still have the gall to call themselves "strong and empowered".
If feminists truly wanted equality they would focus on bettering themselves to better their lot in society. Such as many great women fought in the past to give you all the rights your flagrantly spit on today, (such as pay equality you dafts check the law). Demonizing men as natural born rapists needing to be institutionalized and re-educated, victimizing racial minorities as the helpless oppressed under the shadow of their capitalist racist patriarchal white males is RACIST by the way in case you haven't looked in a mirror recently. And the WORST part of your poisonous ideology is demeaning women by making them out to be helpless victims waiting to be exploited. You can twist your own words anyway you want but it doesn't change the fact that you all are a destructive force on our society, the scourge of equality and the harbinger of social peace.
The world will be much better off when this ideology destroys itself. And I will NEVER stop fighting until it is through, you can count on that.

No luv you're missing the point.
I'm not trying to push you away from arguing/defending your point, in fact I applaud it. It is with that mindset that I create my political poetry and scholars debate for answers. It's a GOOD thing to argue like this.
All I'm asking for is that you look in the mirror, and take a good long look at what modern day feminism is detrimentally doing to society. Look up the things you preach, research the meaning behind its message, don't rely on the dictionary to tell you if you're right or wrong, you should look to the comrades at your side, the leaders in the front and yourself to see if what you're doing is for the better of all and yourself.
Lastly and most importantly luv, NEVER apologize for speaking your mind. That's what this whole political correctness spectrum feminists love employing, it's cancer on free speech and seeks to drive all opposing ideas into the ground. You must NEVER and I repeat NEVER apologize for speaking out. I'm not saying never apologize if you got it wrong but don't forget why you fight.

Tis one thing to engage in free speech, tis a whole other to engage in vitriolic name calling, something I will not do, luv.
I respect your views. And, your frustration. Being a single parent and having experienced the challenges of so-called pay equity, I would say that though there are laws in place, tis difficult to enforce them or even know, definitively, that one's pay is less than, as there tend to be hidden taboos on speaking of pay mayhap for fear of shaking up proverbial apple carts.
Further, as one who has experienced other less than savory things within our culture by virtue of being a woman, I would say we have some strides to make forward. Do I believe men should be demonized? Absolutely not! Human beings run the spectrum of good and bad. Mayhap, the feminist movement has grown vitriolic itself and full of venom. This fills me with great sadness for tis not the answer.
After all, are we not all fundamentally interconnected? Mais, bien sūr, luv. :-* What hurts you, hurts me and so on it goes to my mind. We cannot afford to continue in this vein for all it does is further pain and anguish, suffering.
Alors, such is my view. However, I have gone on and on as is my wont and that after I said to myself I wouldst leave thee in peace...

When they are confronted with a challenging or confronting view they quickly retreat into their ideological shell and refuse to see or even consider reason for fear it might shake up their "proverbial apple carts".
Listen luv I also get flak for being a Christian. Which religion is one a different ideological level than feminism, feminism frighteningly seems to be becoming very similar to a cult.

Which luv, is very indicative of what feminism stands for, the elevation of the privileged few over all others, in the name of equality.

You did do some vitriolic name calling initially. First of all, you do NOT know me. You have made some assumptions about me, which I understand, as I came to your poem and made some comments in defense of the concept of feminism.
However, you do not know who I am. Nor do you know where I stand ideologically, not truly.
As far as I'm concerned, questioning beliefs is absolutely an excellent thing. White male conservative capitalists are not inherently evil nor are those who are not feminists.
My issue is solely this: I have only so much energy these days and I did not mean to engage in a protracted argument or dialogue or engagement or what have you.
I merely meant to make what I now realize was an ill-considered comment, that's all. I am no militant feminist, luv. I do not hate men. I am not retreating into an ideological shell for I have none to retreat into.
I do not believe I should be given special treatment. At. All. I have never asked for that throughout my life. I have striven to make things happen myself and continue to do so. Regardless of my gender. Regardless of my ethnicity. Please do not presume to know me so well based upon a happenstance comment upon your poem.

"Vitriolic" is defined by the dictionary as "bitterly scathing or caustic" now if you can find anyplace in my argument that entail such a vicious comment please bring it to my attention. But since there are none and your accusation is baseless please refrain from further defamation of my character in order to serve your argument.
Ironically luv when you say "nor do you know where I stand ideologically" you are completely backtracking over everything you said and everything this argument is about. You came onto this anti-feminist poem to speak your mind about what you think feminism really is and that you identify as one. THAT luv is evidence to support that I know about your ideology. If you read my other poems about Christianity you can clearly infer that I am indeed a Christian and as such you know my basic beliefs and ideologies. While you may not know every single little thing about me you can get a pretty clear picture about what I stand for based upon my Christianity, and the SAME applies to you and your feminism.
