If I were

If I were perfect would this pain go away?
Every time I look in the mirror all I see is
a man full of flaws, a suicidal terrorist.
If I were perfect would i see a better world?
but every time I look outside it's dark and malicious, even kids nowadays are vicious.
If I were perfect. If I were perfect I wouldn't
have a nicotine addiction  nor lose hope,
if I were perfect I wouldn't lose my temper nor my convictions.
If i were perfect I wouldn't be lonely.
