Moonlit Skin
Your silk moonlit skin kills me
No longer akin
Aching to be long
In your heart it hurts
Where's my touch?
You secured my ego
In a shell with a ribbon
Gently tugged the knot
With your delicate fingers
In one pull you can undo me
Your perfumed words
Aromatically fill my senses
Since i seen you
Last...

Perfumed words are better than being alone. Having something to remember helps, maybe a past visit that still tides you over. Skin and moonlight all the way until next time. Love this one DPW!

"You secured my ego

~completely relate to this weak-kneed anticipation.
vulnerability & trust must go hand'n'hand to avoid the longing it seems.
Great capture poet! ..be well,

Thank you darksighs for the read and comment. Vulnerability and trust go together like guardedness and suspicion do.
