Young one you have so far to go
in life and you are so beautiful
something tells me you will go
through it all before you are done
Young one you will know all of
the pleasure and the pain
the happiness and the sadness
that comes from life and you
will have your fun too yes

somehow I feel my advice won't
save you or keep you from doing
what you are destined to do
somehow I know that you will do
only what you feel you should do
