Drunk
Lifting you up, draining all my spirits.
Lifeless, laying here behind the door.
A toast, another round from my cellar.
Dark, dank, it smells in here.
Through a key-hole I watch you.
All gather round the table laughing with cheer.
Laughing...
Drifting in the sea of lonely, I sit here.
My head spins in place as I release my last bit of energy onto the floor.
My already dark prison grows ever-deeper.
Continually darkening till I can see no more.
One moment I was listening to the mens' deafening howls and laughter... Now the world is empty and quiet.
My heart begins to race in fear as I am unable to move my body or hear my own voice.
Sitting there struggling for what felt like hours I give in.
Eventually I don't feel my heart anymore... Or anything else for that matter.
Then, I felt fear consume my soul and a deep laughter suddenly surrounds me...
