How well you chisled into my granite mind

I'm thinking about this entry as I construct
Instead of my usual conceive, write and burn
Finding reasons to believe in my craft
It's easy to fall in love with words but still fail

You've given me reasons to believe in myself
Stay humble but take some street cred
Dancing between emotion, desire and hunger
The gap closing, seeing the finish line, in the lead
