THREE SECONDS
Every three seconds, a hungry child dies
Every three seconds, their mother cries
Over the grave, in which their child now lies
Every three seconds, for want of food
Every three seconds, a dead child is viewed
No-one to help, because they're not in the mood
Every three seconds, tick tock tick
Every three seconds, a child dies sick
Quite often this death, is not very quick
Every three seconds, their end is nigh
Every three seconds, they sigh their last sigh
Their empty eyes stare, at cloudless skies
Every three seconds, one two three
Every three seconds, how can it be?
So many deaths, and so little humanity
Every three seconds......
Every three seconds, their mother cries
Over the grave, in which their child now lies
Every three seconds, for want of food
Every three seconds, a dead child is viewed
No-one to help, because they're not in the mood
Every three seconds, tick tock tick
Every three seconds, a child dies sick
Quite often this death, is not very quick
Every three seconds, their end is nigh
Every three seconds, they sigh their last sigh
Their empty eyes stare, at cloudless skies
Every three seconds, one two three
Every three seconds, how can it be?
So many deaths, and so little humanity
Every three seconds......
