Never been too fond of Beethoven; always loved Bach. Though it's a perfect selection for the mood of this poem. I'd say No 12 in E-flat major op 127.

not a big Ludwigger either either, except the string quarts.
His 14th just happened to be the closing piece on Brooklyn Rider's "Seven Steps" album, that i got primarily for the two opening new compositions.
Music is probably my #1 obcession, collecting,(esp: obscurities, all genres) always listening when not screwing around as flutist, saxist, clarinetist.....& po'Ut
as far as string quartets go, one word....Shostakovich

I love some of all but not all of some. Music is the doorway to all that is spiritually inspirational to me; a threshold of love.
