Eyes of Alice Blue
Madly in love a world it moves,
Sadly in love a world of fools,
Bawdy words to plunder
Those tear our hearts asunder,
Yet there’s blissful solitude;
A memory – a stellar wind
Found in one truth
My sweet man
In eyes of Alice blue,
Without us,
What was love to prove?
A galaxy that swelters
Inside my heart
Lay strength of endless fathom
Baled in a Golden leaf
Found by the riverbank in June,
Not of this life, I once knew,
True love is true and never cruel,
What would the world it ever do
Without us fools, still madly in love;
This world would never move.
As true as true is true. In eyes of Alice Blue.
Sadly in love a world of fools,
Bawdy words to plunder
Those tear our hearts asunder,
Yet there’s blissful solitude;
A memory – a stellar wind
Found in one truth
My sweet man
In eyes of Alice blue,
Without us,
What was love to prove?
A galaxy that swelters
Inside my heart
Lay strength of endless fathom
Baled in a Golden leaf
Found by the riverbank in June,
Not of this life, I once knew,
True love is true and never cruel,
What would the world it ever do
Without us fools, still madly in love;
This world would never move.
As true as true is true. In eyes of Alice Blue.
