Whiskey

I whisper your name
No one can hear I'm to blame
Feelings keep pouring out like rain
Holding this bottle so I won't feel the same

Don't know how I got here
Maybe it was the whiskey
Maybe it was fear
Wonder if you ever miss me

I guess you call LA home
It's a long way from this Georgia town
Sitting here staring at this phone
Like the whiskey it never makes a sound

Haven't heard from you in twenty one days
I guess those lights keep you out on the town
I'm still here in a daze
So i'll pour another round
Turn your picture down

I'll pretend I don't know reason why you're gone
blame it on you what else can I do
Just me and the whiskey until the dawn
Please tell me you miss me too
