Lover's Opportunity
dancing on the floor
snow angels on dusts
groping dead dreams
of horizontal tangos
flickers of lights among cobwebs
a sliver of broken glass
on broken window panes
a distant sigh slowly dies
kisses like gossamer curtains
brushing on wet cheeks
sweet sorrowful pain
on constricting chests
sweet memories of love
just drops of sweat
on the floor commemorated
with dirt circles
an echoing footstep on cracked board
a distant slamming of a door
a moment of displaced air
all that's left of passion.

This reminds me a bit of Emily Dickinson, and if she's an influence you couldn't have picked a better one. But this works on its own terms. Very sad about how love and passion are so ephemeral. Fine job Grace.
