Pride
Pride
Dangerous
Double-edged sword
It slices deep
Mine has
I've writhed in agony
Endless nights of self-imposed
Exile
Guilt
And pride
Ahhh...
To never make mistakes
As much as that sounds
Desirable
It's not. So not.
I learn the most from my errors
I earn my education
I'll take my flaws
My humanity
Strive
To be better than myself
O'er and o'er
So
Alas
Alack
Here I am
Please
forgive
me
For I cannot remain away
It is like to remove the heart of me to continue thus
Bereft...
Dangerous
Double-edged sword
It slices deep
Mine has

Endless nights of self-imposed

Thank you, Rose, luv ~ :-*
I feel rather more complete than I've felt in a while; there is something quite, quite extraordinary about Deep Underground Poetry.
You've all been writing these incredible pieces of surpassing beauty, marvelous art. :-*

if one never returns
one is doomed to
go on
wondering...
(I really like the poem,
by the way..:)

Ahhh, dartford, luv ~ :-*
Every single Anglophilic cell within me rejoices at your wondrous and wonderful never-ending phrases...
Would that I had your talent for this, luv - alas! I do not. No matter, though. I shall come and peruse and be mystified betimes by some of your various acutely clever offerings.
You keep me humble, luv. You and Pishashee. ;-D
And, truth be told, myriad others...

Savaja, you have masterfully illustrated one of the the key principles of success in life. We have to make mistakes to learn. We have to be vulnerable to master life. Bravisima bella poeta!

Thank you Savaja...I don't know that I'm worthy of such praise. I do know that I am blessed by your talent and the grace and love that, in abundance, is in you.

Thank you so very, very much for the welcome back. (I'm taking this to heart from you since you're my resident super-power - did you think I'd forgotten?!)

If one never leaves
one can never come back!
Welcome back with your new found richness

How I have missed you, your pithy, insightful, wisdom-filled comments, your keen and eductive writing, you. (Inner dacryphiliac, indeed! I have some tears for you, luv...)
Hmmm...
I seem to be juxtaposing my poem responses - no matter. ;-*

Mistakes can be the very best teachers, I've found. ;-p

Thinking of making a few more, heh. I just seem to make them no thought involved. :-p
