You Are The Poem, These Are Just Words
There is a poem I'm trying to write
That I can't quite make words describe
About the incredible size of your heart
And the deep allure of your mind
How your arms feel around me
And how you feel in mine
How whenever you are near
I suddenly feel fine
My fragmented mind
And tarnished soul
Press against yours
And I'm once again whole
Somehow the sun still shined bright
Even when the rain spilled through
As I watched you run to your car to leave
Like the sky had mixed feelings too
Full of joy that you were here
And sad to see you have to go
You are the most beautiful thing to me
And I just wanted to let you know.
That I can't quite make words describe
About the incredible size of your heart
And the deep allure of your mind
How your arms feel around me
And how you feel in mine
How whenever you are near
I suddenly feel fine
My fragmented mind
And tarnished soul
Press against yours
And I'm once again whole
Somehow the sun still shined bright
Even when the rain spilled through
As I watched you run to your car to leave
Like the sky had mixed feelings too
Full of joy that you were here
And sad to see you have to go
You are the most beautiful thing to me
And I just wanted to let you know.
