The Dark Knight and the Queen In White.
The Knight of darkness loves the Queen in white.
The fire that warms the hearts of lovers,
Burns in the minds of the mad.
And what is given with the left hand is then taken with the right.
People can be blind, and never lose thier sight.
Things may not always be as they seem.
Everything that shines, dosen't always gleam.
A life of chaos with sinful pleasures.
Or a simple life with hidden treasures.
A life of luxury that feels so hollow.
Even our leaders need some one to follow.
Things may not always be as they seem.
Every thing that shines, dosen't always gleam.
Because the Queen of Light,
Loves her black knight.

Awesome poem! I loved it, it just had an epic feel to it whilst not being all that long, yet in its' verses it conveys so very much that it gives one a great impression of things. There seems a touch of philosophy here, of a worldly sense... and I like the way everything flows well and how it all comes together at the end. Great touch having the poem end where it begins, with only the phrasing being reversed. I do that too in several of my poems, especially in some of my more esoteric works! All in all, I love this. Thanks for posing it on here for us to read! :D

Thank you very much Kessica, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I had thought about adding to it but the more I added the it seemed to lose its feeling.
