Drinking and singing the night away
Spinning in the vineyard arms
of ancient father Bacchus' charms
hoping he does more good than harm
as we dance in the magic of the moonlight
Our minds are singing, our tongues feel loose
we slide silence to the side and spill the truth
until inevitably one of us says something rude
and desire begins to grow inside
Social moral rules get downgraded to guidelines
barriers caging feelings of primal lust grow extra fine
our eyes meet across the room and the stars align
as our lips and fingers serenade the night
Music and words can only do so much
but the situation refuses touch
so visuals will have to be enough
until we can sneak away out of sight….
