Waiting
You’re keeping me waiting,
Passing the time, you’re slowly fading.
I’m just sitting here faded,
This bond that we share is exaggerated.
Tonight I own you;
Tonight I’ll show you what it’s like to love
Without expectations.
By the end of this night, I’ll have your morals shaken.
So I’m sitting here, waiting,
Staring through glass, evaluating.
I know you’re persuaded
By the money I share, so you dance there naked.
Tonight I owe you;
Tonight I’ll give you what you really want –
To be motivated.
To someday live a life not isolated.
And so you keep on waiting.
Passing the time, you’re slowly fading.
I’m just sitting here faded,
This bond that we share is exaggerated.
Tonight I own you;
Tonight I’ll show you what it’s like to love
Without expectations.
By the end of this night, I’ll have your morals shaken.
So I’m sitting here, waiting,
Staring through glass, evaluating.
I know you’re persuaded
By the money I share, so you dance there naked.
Tonight I owe you;
Tonight I’ll give you what you really want –
To be motivated.
To someday live a life not isolated.
And so you keep on waiting.
